• Firstly, please get in touch to see if I am available on your wedding date and can travel to your venue/location.

• If I am available, we will then organise a meet-up in person or via video call to see if I am the right fit for you. We will discuss ways I can personalise your wedding ceremony with different rituals which may be religious, spiritual or simply meaningful to you as a couple e.g. a hand fasting ceremony, wine box capsule, surprise ring bearer etc. We will also discuss your love story and the journey which got you to your wedding day, and hand written vows should you want them (I can help you with these!). I write every single script from scratch.

 

• ​I will send you a quote via email, and if you are happy to go ahead, I will send you a contract to sign and ask that you transfer 50% of the total fee (non-refundable).

• As it will not be a legally binding ceremony, you will need to organise the 'legal bit' at the registry office. Please book this as soon as possible, as they can fill up quickly. This will cost approximately £50.00 for you as the couple and two witnesses, depending on where you live. I am more than happy to act as a witness (chargeable for my time).

• A few months (or weeks, depending on when you booked me) before the ceremony, I will send you both a questionnaire to fill out. This will involve answering questions about how you met, your proposal, what you love about each other and what you would like included in your ceremony. We may meet again to discuss the content of your script, and I can also get in touch with friends and family to discuss their roles in the ceremony or to gather extra titbits for your script.

• I will then write your script with multiple revisions available, and we will confirm readings, music and any symbolic rituals you may want performed, creating your dream ceremony. Each ceremony takes many hours of research, writing, communication with you, in-person or video meetings, and preparation. I will always be at the end of the phone with any queries or help you need. This can be via WhatsApp, text, phone call or email.

• The remaining balance will be payable 12 weeks before the big day or on production of your final script (whichever is sooner). Please note that all fees are non-refundable.

• Once you are happy with your bespoke script, we will have another video call or in-person meeting to discuss the logistics of the ceremony.

• We will then schedule a rehearsal. This can either be a meet-up in a public place, at the venue/location or via video call. If we do not hold the rehearsal at the venue, I will make a separate visit. ​

​

• When the big day finally comes, I will arrive at your venue between 60 - 90 minutes before to liaise with the wedding co-ordinator and your wedding party, to make sure everything is prepared and to help with any last minute jitters from yourselves or any family or friends who may be performing a reading. Please note, I have my own sound system including a speaker and microphones if needed.

• I only perform one ceremony a day so I will not be rushing off anywhere if there are any delays. It is YOUR day and I am here for you.
