Claire really is one of a kind with a heart of pure gold. We very luckily bumped into Claire at an open day for the venue we had planned to elope at. Claire immediately made us both feel at ease, and we booked her on the spot. Thank goodness we did, because Claire became such a special part of our very intimate day.

From the moment we booked, communication was frequent and in-depth, and you could tell Claire really cared about our story and wanted to get every detail perfect when writing our ceremony script. Claire’s ‘love questionnaires’ felt particularly special, as they really made us think back over our relationship and talk about little moments we may have forgotten but that are such an important part of our story. From our answers, Claire created the most beautiful, detailed script — you’d have thought it was written by someone who had known us for years (rather than 12 weeks), and it’s something we will remember forever.

Claire was so much more than just a celebrant to us. With only myself, my husband, and our two sons sharing the day together, Claire became a wedding planner, chauffeur, nerve calmer, and bridal party all in one. It was so lovely to have someone who wasn’t only willing to go above and beyond, but who truly wanted to. Thank you so much for creating and sharing our special day with us, Claire. An extra special thank you for driving me to the venue with prosecco and essential oils at the ready for my nerves, and for squeezing me into my dress — you really are the best.

We met Claire at the first wedding open event we ever visited, less than a month after getting engaged! Claire had such a warm, calming, and reassuring nature when we met and immediately felt like someone we had known for years, which for me, as an anxious and more introverted bride, was so important. She took the time to chat with us and put us at ease, as wedding planning can be overwhelming! Claire’s passion for what she does radiated from her and we came away from the day feeling so excited about having met someone who so deeply cares about her couples.

We eventually found our dream venue…over 150 miles from where Claire is based…but this should tell you everything you need to know about how incredible Claire is and the impression she left on us after meeting; we never even looked into celebrants that were local to the venue - we didn’t need to. Claire had to be our celebrant WHEREVER we got married. Reader…she said yes! Her kindness, enthusiasm for her role in your day, and the unique personal touches she in particular offers as a celebrant ticked every box and more for us. We are firm believers of when you know, you know, and with Claire it was just no question that we wanted her to be our celebrant.

Nearly a year since booking Claire as our celebrant - a decision we are still so glad we made. We keep in touch regularly on Instagram and Claire is the ultimate hype woman - always reacting to stories, cheering us on, and as excited about all things wedding as I am! It’s so reassuring to have consistent communication with someone who is playing such a significant role in your day. How lucky are we to have found in Claire a celebrant who’s also the best personal cheerleader, such a warm and calming presence, and ultimately, now, a friend. What more could you need on perhaps the biggest day of your life.

While scrolling on social media recently, I stumbled across wonderful footage of Claire renewing the wedding vows of a local couple celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary. With my own parents forthcoming Diamond Anniversary, in just a couple of weeks’ time(!), I contacted Claire to see if it was possible for her to renew their vows as a surprise to them both. Thankfully, Claire had a window of availability - and a few days later, we met to discuss the details of my parents love story. Over the course of the following week, communication between Claire and myself was great with frequent emails - and a few drafts later, Claire had produced the most beautiful script detailing my parent’s life together; a love story full of personal sentiments, humour, and emotion. Due to my mother’s health and mobility issues, my request was for the ceremony to be at my home, in the evening during a celebration party. Preferably, the ceremony was to be outside and together we planned a stage with flowers, fairy lights, candles and music – though (typically!) on the evening itself, the atrocious weather put a stop to our plan A(!) Nevertheless, bringing the surprise event indoors did not take away from the unique, memorable, and beautiful ceremony that it was. A natural celebrant, Claire radiates joy, is a dedicated, creative individual, understanding, flexible and a great listener. “Thank you, Claire, for sharing my parent’s special day and making the occasion one we will all never forget.

At really short notice Claire wrote and performed the most beautiful outdoor vow renewal for my parents golden wedding anniversary. She wrote a script that was personal and perfect, a true reflection of their life together, and story of enduing true love. My mum didn’t know anything about it, and the look on her face when Claire explained what was happening was priceless. Claire is a natural celebrator of joy, she takes time to know the people that she is working with and ensures that every aspect, even down to rhe stage management of the surprise, was perfect. I wish I could give more than five stars!

Claire was brilliant right from start to finish. The whole idea to renew our vows for our Golden wedding was to keep it a total suprise for my wife, and it worked! On very short notice, she prepared the script and liased closely with our daughter to set things up and make it very personal for us. The ceremony went without a hitch with only the sun not getting the memo to make an appearance. Absolutely perfect and Claire did a wonderful job. Highly recommend her personal service. Definitely made our day as we only had a simple registry office wedding originally. Thank you so very much - will you do it again in 10 years?
