Hello and welcome to a little whirlwind tour of my summer! The weather has been pretty great hasn't it?
I live in Torquay, Devon, so in my downtime, when I've not been gardening, my husband, George, and I have been going to the beach, swimming in the sea (in the UK?! Who am I?), doing bbqs at home, going for brunches with the girls, walking on the surrounding coast paths and Dartmoor and exploring National Trust gardens.

We also managed a trip to Cyprus for a week in July to see his cousin and beautiful fiancé get married. I don't know if you know, but I also make bridal hair accessories, and it was such an honour to make Greek Stefana crowns, which were used and worn during the church ceremony.

I celebrated my 35th birthday in July and also performed a beautiful wedding ceremony in front of 100 guests at East Soar Farm. Trips to see friends in London and Cheltenham, and attending birthday parties. Lots of reading and decorating the house.

A surprise vow renewal I performed on Babbacombe Downs in the spring was featured in The Guardian! That was exciting!!

My husband and I celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary with a trip to Amelia's Flower Farm where I picked gorgeous dahlias for my anniversary gift from George. We spent the evening watching our wedding video again and the reunion of Love is Blind with a takeaway.

I launched a networking event for local wedding suppliers with my friend Melody in the spring, called 'Coffee and a Catch Up', and that has been going from strength to strength every month, with 37 members at present!

I feel incredibly lucky to have had more bookings this summer by the most lovely couples in venues such as Glebe House Cottages, Humber Barn, Cadhay House, East Soar Farm, Upton Barn and Badger's Holt for ceremonies next year and 2027. It's been awful turning people away for dates I am already performing on. I am now booked from May right through to October 2026 and key dates for 2027, and I couldn't be more grateful!
Bring on the autumn, and here's to getting cosy, meeting more gorgeous couples at venue open days and working with my booked couples on their wedding ceremonies next year.

And of course, if you're interested in having me as your wedding celebrant for your ceremony in 2026 or 2027, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
Love Claire xxx
